Join the Dayton Adobe User Group and WPCFUG on April 21 to celebrate and learn more about the launch of Adobe Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4. Flash Builder 4 is an application designed to help software developers rapidly develop cross-platform rich Internet applications (RIAs) and content. Flex 4 is an open source framework for developing RIAs. As a part of the Flash Platform, these powerful technologies can be used to easily create applications that run cross-platform in a browser or on the desktop.
To help make sense of these new tools, Adobe Platform Evangelist, Kevin Hoyt, will provide a thorough demonstration. He'll also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about Flex or Flash Builder.
As if that wasn't enough, there will be free food and drinks to enjoy. They'll also raffle a bunch of great prizes, including a free copy of Flash Builder 4, a free copy of Creative Suite (courtesy of the WPCFUG), T-shirts, books, and more!
This is a free event; all you have to do is show up to participate. See you at SAA!

The DCS Adobe User Group is teaming up again with the Wright-Patterson Coldfusion User Group to create an evening of education, discussion, and fun! Andrew Rossi and Robert Harr from FORGE will discuss their process of building a ColdFusion-based web application from design to development. Plus we'll hear talks from more WPCFUG speakers.
We will be at Canal Street Tavern (308 East First Street) on Tuesday, Dec. 15, so come out to hear some short talks and meet with other RIA (what's RIA?) folks in the area. There will also be giveaways of Adobe swag and a raffle for a free copy of Adobe CS4!
After the presentations, which will begin shortly after 7:00p, we will have networking time, as well as some fantastic local music.
This event is free to attend, and there will be a cash bar*.
