If you came downtown to Urban Nights last week, and took even a few minutes to look around courthouse square, you will have seen the DCS workin' hard to make the Main Street Chalk Walk a huge success. Hundreds of people from all over the city came to take part in the event, and by the end of the night an entire one block section of the street was covered in chalk art of all sizes and kinds. By now the rain and traffic will have washed away all of the evidence that we were even there, but we did get a lot of great photos of the event. DATV also made a video of us in action (produced by DCS member, Dan Suffoletto). DCS Chalk Walk from Dan Suffoletto on Vimeo. Can you find yourself?
If you were a part of the event or drew some art on the street, why not leave a comment below so that we can see what it was. Thanks, Dayton, for the great time! Hope to see you again in the Spring. :) |
